The list of great things in my studio:
Beer and tunes
Plaster and water
Hot glue and glue sticks
Cardstock
Lots of random matching things that aren't for any purpose
Garbage bin
Table and chair
Paint
Oil and air dry clay
Silicone Rubber
Drill
Scissors
Various pens and markers
Hair dyer
Stamping/labeling
Wax and hotpot
(There's other niknaks, but these are the top list of well-loved investments.
Things in the shop (not the studio) include wood and metal craft, glass, etc. but I'm just talking studio, suitcasable items.)
If I had to clear everything out and start new with just 3:
Hot glue and sticks
Marker
Beer and Tunes
Hard decision there. I've been working so much in rubber and plaster, but I really enjoy found objects and supergluing them. Why the hell a marker? I can't figure that one out. Somehow it went with this "found object art", like I'd be able to label it.
And beer and tunes was a reality check. I don't think I've been in my studio without listening to something. Although I could forgo the booze, I really really want the music.
What is in your work space that you love using or have thought, hey this is great to have around?
And if you had to only work with a portion, what would you choose?
I think it's a good brainstorm.
